Lovely Gifts

For my early birthday presents to myself I forced myself to buy investment pieces, meaning Topshop's leopard print coat and a KitchenAid mixer in pistachio! The coat instantly makes me feel like a million dollars and could easily double as a blanket. The mixer on the other hand is the best sort of kitchen accessory out there, anything is possible once you are equipped with one. Girlfriend, sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

1960's Come Back!

I cannot express my love enough for January Jones' wardrobe as Betty Draper on Mad Men. The show features all you can imagine, high waisted skirts, Peter Pan collars, zipped up cocktail dresses and posh driving gloves. I highly recommend the program, due not only to its entertainment but the great inspiration that comes from the costume department.
